Erich Struble focuses on Pennsylvania state and local tax litigation.
Immediately before joining the firm, Erich was a Deputy Attorney General in the Tax Litigation & Financial Enforcement Section of the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. In that position, he represented the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in cases involving sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, bank shares tax, corporate net income, capital stock and franchise taxes, and also personal income tax. As a Deputy Attorney General, Erich successfully argued several tax cases before the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and was involved in appeals heard by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Prior to joining the Office of the Attorney General, Erich was an associate at a Harrisburg-based law firm, where he represented businesses involved in state and local tax disputes.
Erich is a graduate of The Penn State Dickinson School of Law, where he was a member of the Woolsack Honor Society and the Penn State Law Review. Prior to law school, Erich graduated magna cum laude from Lafayette College with departmental honors in Government & Law.
Erich is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Delaware (inactive) and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the James S. Bowman American Inn of Court.
